Closing out a double header Saturday, the Xinfity Series runs the Pit Boss 250. But first 42 teams have brought cars to the track for 38 spots in the field.
The drivers get a 20 minute practice session before being divided into two groups for qualifying. The top five in each group will make a second qualifying run for the pole.
Joining the Xfinity Series race this week is Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace driving the number 18 car for Joe Gibbs Racing.
Due to some mechanical issues, Brandon Jones will not make a qualifying run but will be in the race, starting from the back of the field.
Jesse Iwuji, Brennan Poole, Josh Williams, and Gar Robinson all failed to make the race.
With a qualifying time of 2:14.52 Ty Gibbs put his number 54 car on the pole for the second time in his career. The 19 year old is the first multiple race winner of the season so far with two.
After running in the Camping World Truck Series; Will Rodgers, Sheldon Creed, and Parker Kligerman are running a doubleheader and racing in the Xfinity Series race.

Stage one of the race is 14 laps long with stage two and three lasting 16 laps for a total of 46 laps around the 3.41 mile track.
JJ Yeley, Brandon Brown, Josh Bilicki, Brett Moffitt, Landon Cassill, Brandon Jones, Will Rodgers, and Ryan Sieg will alls have to start the race from the back of the field after crews made unapproved adjustments to the cars.
Nineteen year old Ty Gibbs brings the field down for the green flag start of the race on a hot Saturday afternoon and drivers gets four and five wide a cross the track going into turn one.

Josh Berry and Miguel Paludo have damage to their cars after some on track contact amongh several drivers in close quarters.
Stefan Parsons gets off the track but gets moving again and the track stays green.

Parker Kligerman, who has already run 42 laps in the Truck Series, is reporting some major cramping in his arms. Kligerman’s cool suit malfunctioned during the Truck Series race.

Lap four, Ross Chastain comes back to battle Ty Gibbs for the lead with AJ Allmendinger on their bumpers. AJ Allmendinger takes the lead with Ty Gibbs in second and Ross Chastain in third.
Lap six, AJ Allmendinger has a half second lead on Ty Gibbs with Ross Chastain in third; Cole Custer and Alex Labbe round out the top five.
Lap seven, Ty Gibbs challenges AJ Allmendinger for the lead, but so far “The Dinger” is holding off the teen driver.
Lap eight, the battle continues and AJ Allmendinger holds off Ty Gibbs one more time.
Lap eight, Ty Gibbs passes AJ Allmendinger briefly for the lead but Allmendinger quickly takes back the lead; Ross Chastain, Cole Custer, and Alex Labbe round out the top five.
Lap nine, AJ Allmendinger continues to lead the race with Ty Gibbs continuing to run in his wake.
More than just the first road course race of the season, the Dash-4-Cash returns for the Xfinity Series. The top four Xfinity Series regulars will qualify to compete for $100,000 prize over the next four races.
Lap 10, Cole Custer passes Ross Chastain for third.
After starting the race in 16th place, Bubba Wallace has moved up just outside the top five in sixth place.

Bayley Currey’s car was taken to the garage on the tow truck and is out of the race.
Will Rodgers’ car was stalled on pit road and had to be pushed; NASCAR keeps pit road closed until pit road is cleared.
Noah Gragson is reporting that he is very nauseous in the car and is asking for some form of medication for the issue.
Drivers who did not make a pit stop before the end of the stage, make their pit stops. AJ Allmendinger entered put road as the leader but comes back out on the track in 15th place.
Ty Gibbs is the leader of the race and brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 18. Drivers immediately get four and five wide across the track. Ross Chastain takes the lead.
The top five are Ross Chastain, Sam Mayer, Bubba Wallace, Ty Gibbs, and Cole Custer. AJ Allmendinger moves up four spots to 12th on the restart.

Ty Gibbs made a pit stop. One of his valve stems had been knocked off and was leaking air. He comes back out on the track in 36th place.
Cole Custer and Bubba Wallace battle for second with Custer taking the spot nearly three seconds behind Ross Chastain.

Bubba Wallace passes Cole Custer for second.
Lap 25, AJ Allmendinger and Sam Mayer battle for fourth.
Lap 26, Ross Chastain has a atwo and a half second lead on Bubba Wallace; Cole Custer, AJ Allmendinger, and Sam Mayer round out the top five.
Patrick Gallagher spins out but the track stays green when he gets the car moving again.
Lap 27, AJ Allmendinger is now in third place nearly four seconds behind leader Ros Chastain.
With four laps remaining in stage two, drivers are beginning to make pit stops short of the end of the stage including AJ Allmendinger and Bubba WAllace.
Lap 27 Ross Chastain’s lead is down to under two seconds over Cole Custer.
Lap 29, Ross Chastain gives up the lead to make a green flag pit stop and gives the lead over to Sam Mayer.
Cole Custer was caught speeding on pit road and will have to serve a pass through penalty.
Bubba Wallace is off the pace but is still on the track. The transmission keeps jumping out of gear and he has to try and hold it in gear.
Sam Mayer wins stage two for his first ever stage win.

The caution flag comes out for debrits on the track with 13 laps remaining in the race. This is the first caution flag of the race for something other than the end of a stage.
