It has been nearly five years since the Icelandic band Sigur Ros has toured the world. All that will change later this spring and summer.
But before Jónsi, Georg and Kjartan hit the road, they are busy working on new music for an album; their first since “Kveikur” in 2013. They band also says that they will be debuting the new music on the tour; along with music that spans their 25 year career.
Information of the new album release will be forthcoming soon.
Tickets for the new tour go on sale beginning February 25. More tour dates covering areas outside of North America will be revealed at a later date.
