When it comes to following the rules laid down in the NASCAR rule book, officials have a no tolerance policy and leave little room for any doubt.

Last October after the race at Talladage Superspeedway, NASCAR suspended crew chief Eddie Troconis on the number 02 Young’s Motorsports car after he violated Section 12.8.1.c of the rule book.

On February 11, NASCAR reinstated Troconis who can now return to all NASCAR related activities.

While NASCAR did not specify the infraction, Section 12.8.1.c pertains to the behaviour of personnel. NASCAR would only say that the infraction did not involve an on track incident.

Prior to his suspension, Troconis sat on the pit box in both the Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series.
