Last summer, NASCAR Hall of Fame driver and co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing’s Tony Stewart and former NASCAR crew chief Ray Evernham created a new short track racing series – the Superstar Racing Experience.

Twelve drivers from various racing formats drove identically created cars on a variety of racing surfaces.  A man that is ready to drive anything with four wheels, creator Tony Stewart was crowned as the series’ first winner.

The SRX returns this summer with some location changes.

The series will open on June 19 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.  As luck would have it, that is the one weekend that the NASCAR drivers have off.

The dirt tracks at Eldora and Knoxville are being replaced by the I-55 Raceway in Missouri and Sharon Speedway in Ohio.

2022 SRX schedule:
June 19 at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL
June 25 at the South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA
July 2 at the Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT
July 9 at the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN
