Last season, Cup Series champion Kyle Larson not only participated in

Rous races across the three NASCAR racing series; he also, took to the dirt for some short track racing every chance he got.  As a result, he participated on over 100 races during 2021.

Up until a few years ago, drivers ran as many races as they wanted across all three of the series – Cup, Xfinity, and Camping World Trucks – racking up dozens of races each year.  Over the past few years, NASCAR has limited the Cup Series drivers to just five races each in the Xfinity and Truck Series.

Over the course of a career a driver runs hundreds of races, even reaching over 1,000.  Before his death in 2001, Dale Earnhardt made a total of 812 total race starts to rank 25th in the list of most race starts.  The number one driver has over 1,000!  Four of the drivers on the list are still currently driving and have a chance to move up the list.
