As the Covid virus continues to mutate and spread, musicians are finding that booking and keeping a tour are becoming increasingly difficult.

The latest casualty of the touring merry-go-round is Nick Mason formerly of Pink Floyd.

Mason was set to bring his band to North America later this month as a part of his “Saucerful of Secrets” tour. But Mason has announced that the North American dates have been postponed to some time later this year.

In a statement via social media Mason said, “it is with great regret that due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the North American tour until later in the year. Apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment due to this. We are working on rescheduling the dates and will announce them as soon as we can.”

Fans who have already purchased tickets for the postponed dates are encouraged to hold on to them until after the dates have been rescheduled.
