In over 50 years of making music as a solo artist and as a part of the Rock Roll Hall of Fame band KISS, Gene Simmons has amassed quite a collection of artifacts and memorabilia.

Simmons is planning to open a KISS museum in Las Vegas next year featuring items from his personal collection.

With a target date of March 2022, Simmons has secured a 15,000 square foot facility at the Rio Hotel and Casino for the museum.  Saying that he will be personally donating hundreds of items, Simmons said the exhibits will feature costumes, state props, and album certifications.

The Rio already includes a glow in the dark KISS Monster Mini Golf course.  Established in 2016, the mini golf will get an expansion along with the new museum.

Simmons spoke on the upcoming projects saying, “it’s going to be breathtaking.  I was there the first day, as my stuff started to come in. We have three tractor-trailers full of stuff, and it’s going to be spectacular. The fans are going to dig it. You can play golf, you can have your photo taken, you can take videos of yourself onstage with Kiss, and then go visit my private collection.”
