For many drivers the Camping World Truck Series is the first step on the NASCAR road to becoming a driver in the Cup Series.
Two teams in the Truck Series will be expanding for the coming racing season.
The family owned team Hill Motorsports will field two trucks for the 2022 season. Team owner Timmy Hill has been a part time driver in the Camping World Truck Series for the past three years; splitting time with younger brother Tyler. Beginning with the 2022 season, Hill will be a full time driver in the number 56 truck.
Switching to Toyota trucks in the new season, Hill has yet to name a driver for the second truck.
Hattori Racing Enterprises has also announced that they will be expanding to two trucks for the coming season with Tyler Ankrum driving the number 16 truck and Scott Zipadelli as crew chief.
Chase Purdy will be the driver in the second HRE truck.
