Tony Award winning entertainer Lea Salonga will be stepping away from the Broadway stage next year for a mid and western North American tour that includes a stop in Hawaii.  The “Dream Again” tour is set to begin in April.

Salonga noted that once she finally gets back out on the road, it will have been tow years since her last performance.  “I am counting down the days to the first show. I miss the audiences. I miss my band and our tour crew,” she said.

Broadway fans have seen Salonga in “Miss Saigon”, “Once on this Island”, and “Les Miserables”.  Her screen appearances include the voice of Princess Jasmine in “Aladdin”, “Yellow Rose”, “Mulan”, and is set to appear in upcoming episodes of “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”.
