Battle Rounds Conclude on ‘The Voice’

When the final night of the battle rounds on “The Voice” begins, only Blake has a steal. Ariana, Kelly, and John all have seven members on their teams and need just one more artist; Blake has two spots remaining on his team.

Ariana opens the night of music with a battle between Ryleigh Plank and KCK3 with “Come on Over Baby”. John called the performance captivating. Kelly said that they all did great on the song. Blake loves the harmonies of KCK3 but Ryleigh really shined. Calling the night perfect, Ariana chose Ryleigh as the winner of the battle. Ariana is the first coach to fill out her battle team.

Kelly paired The Cunningham Sisters and Parker McKay for a battle of “It’s My Party” by Leslie Gore. Blake said that it was tricky. Ariana said that everyone sounded beautiful. John is conflicted in his decision. Kelly said that they did such a beautiful job; adding that they nailed it. Noting that she has a tough decision to make, Kelly chose The Cunningham Sisters as the winner of the battle. Kelly has filled her battle round team.

In a video clip, Blake paired Berritt Hanyes and Kaitlyn Velez for a battle of “Yellow” wth Berritt winning the battle.

In the final performance of the battle rounds, John paired Paris Winningham and Jonathan Mouton for a battle of the Luther Vandross song “Here and Now”. Kelly said that there was some beautiful singing. Blake said that it sounded like a record and he wanted to hear it again. Ariana called the performance incredible; adding that they were both world class singers. John noted that neither was better; adding that they are both evenly matched and as great as they needed to be. John chose Paris as the winner of the battle. Blake finally used his steal for Jonathan. Jonathan was shocked when Blake pusehd his button. John was glad that Blake saved Jonathan.
