The Xfinity Series kicks off their first round of the playoffs with the Alsco Uniform 302 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway in race two of a triple header weekend.

The playoff points have been reset to 2,000 points for each driver plus any playoff and bonus points earned. Austin Cindric and regular season champion AJ Allmendinger are tied with 2,044 points each.
Austin Cindric will sit on the pole and bring the field to green with AJ Allmendinger starting alongside on the front row.

Once again this week, Josh Berry is sitting in for Michael Annett who is still recovering from a leg injury.
Driver Matt Jaskol had an interesting way of entering the racetrack today…he skydived on the to track; jumping from a helicopter 5,000 feet in the air!
Air temperatures are in the 90’s at race start; which means that inside the car the temps will reach well over 125 degrees.
The Doo Wop Kings performed a harmonizing National Anthem that brought smiles to some of the drivers and crew.
NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 25.
Stages one and two are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 111 laps for a total of 201 laps around the mile and a half track.
Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the outside lane and goes nose to nose with AJ Allmendinger after a little help from behind in the form of a push. Austin Cindric takes the lead in turn four to lead lap one.
Lap two, Austin Cindric leads the race with AJ Allmendinger in second; Justin Haley, Ty Gibbs, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.
Lap four, Austin Cindric has a third of a second lead on AJ Allmendinger.
Justin Allgaier and Ty Gibbs battle back and forth for spots four and five. On lap six, Justin Allgaier is in fourth with Gibbs in fifth.
Lap seven, Austin Cindric holds on to a lead of just under half a second on AJ Allmendinger; Justin Haley is three seconds back in third with Justin Allgaier and Ty Gibbs rounding out the top five.
Lap nine, Austin Cindric has increased his lead on AJ Allmendinger to over half a second.
Lap 13, Austin Cindric has led every lap so far with AJ Allmendinger in second; Justin Haley, Ty Gibbs, and Justin Allgiaer round out the top five.
Lap 17, Justin Allgaier gets slideways after getting loose on the track and drops a few spots but saves the car and the track stays green.
Lap 19, Austin Cindric has increased his lead to over half a second on AJ Allmendinger; Ty Gibbs, Daniel Hemric, and Justin Allgiaer round out the top five.
Reports are that there is some fluid coming from Justin Allgaier’s car. The crew told him to watch his gauges.
There are 34 cars on the lead lap with all 40 cars still on the track.
Lap 34, AJ Allmendinger has caught up to leader Austin Cindric and is challenging for the lead.
Lap 24, Austin Cindric holds on to the lead and has again pulled away from AJ Allmendinger and is now a half a second back in front.
Lap 26, NASCAR brings out the yellow flag for the competition caution.
Only a handful of drivers bring their car down pit road including Justin Allgaier. Several crew members crawl under the car to check for any leaks.
The teams were given five sets of tires for today’s race.
Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane on lap 31. AJ Allmendinger takes the lead as a wreck happens in turn one. Jeb Burotn, Alex Labbe, JJ Yeley, Jeremy Clements, Riley Herbst, Sam Mayer, Dylan Lupton, BJ McLeod, Ty Dillon, Bayley Currey, Joe Graf Jr, Josh Berry, and Brandon Brown were all involved in the wreck. Riley Herbst gets loose in a five wide battle and starts the melee.
Riley Herbst is out of the race.
With his car on the hook, Jeb Burton is out of the race.
AJ Allmendinger brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with Ty Gibbs on the inside lane on lap 41. AJ Allmendinger gets out in front for the lead with Austin Cindric in second thanks to a push from Daniel Hemric.
With five laps remaining in stage one, AJ Allmendinger already has a lead of nearly half a second with Daniel Hemric in second; Austin Cindric, Ty Gibbs, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.
There are 22 cars on the lead lap.
One to go in stage one and AJ Allmendinger holds on to his half second lead on Daniel Hemric.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Daniel Hemric winning the race off of pit road.
Noah Gragson was charged with driving through too many pit boxes coming into his pit stall and will have to restart the race from the back of the field. He reports that his steering wheel popped off.
Ryan Sieg was charged with an equipment interference issue and will also have to serve a penalty.
After staying out on the track, Ty Dillon brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 52 and gets out in front for the lead with Daniel Hemric taking second.
Lap 52, the top five are Ty Dillon, Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, and Justin Allgiaer.
Drivers are getting three and four wide across the track.
The caution flag comes out for Ryan Sieg on lap 54 after he gets loose and spins out after some on track contact. The rear bumper is torn off of Sieg’s car.
Brandon Jones will restart the race back in the pack after having to make a pit stop for a vibration.
Ty Dillon brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with Daniel Hemric on the inside on lap 60. Ty Dillon gegts out in front for the lead with Daniel Henric in second.
Justin Allgaier takes second with Harrison Burton in third.
Lap 61, the top five are Ty Dillon, Justin Allgaier, Harrison Burton, Daniel Hemric, and Austin Cindric.
Lap 63, Ty Dillon holds off Justin Allgaier to hold on to the lead on older tires; Harrison Burton, Austin Cindric, and Daneil Hemric round out the top five.
Lap 65, there are 24 cars on the lead lap.
Harrison Burton is reporting that Justin Allgaier is leaking fluid. Earlier the crew determined that there was a bit of grease that had leaked from the rear end housing.
Lap 66, Justin Allgaier passes Ty Dillon for the lead; Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.
Lap 69, Harrison Burton is falling back in the field. He is reporting that he is very loose.
Lap 70, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of over a second and a half on Ty Dillon.
Lap 77, Justin Allgaier holds a second and a half lead on Ty Dillon; Austin Cindric, Ty Gibbs, and Daneil Hemric round out the top five with 23 cars on the lead lap. There are nine cars out of the race.
Mired back in tenth place, AJ Allmendinger is reporting a bad handling car.
Lap 85, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a two second lead on Ty Dillon; Austin Cindric, Ty Gibbs, and Noah Gragson round out the top five with 22 cars on the lead lap.
As sunset approaches the entire track is in shadow; increasing the on track grip.
Lap 87, there are only 19 cars on the lead lap.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Justin Allgaier winning the race off of pit road.
Noah Gragson has another penalty, this time he was caught speeding on pit road.
Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three on lap 97 from the outside lane and holds on to the lead.
Lap 98, the top five are Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, AJ Allmendinger, Daniel Hemric, and Ty Gibbs. There are 19 cars on the lead lap.
With a stage of over 100 laps, the drivers cannot complete the stae on a single load of fuel and will have to make a pit stop during the stage.
Lap 100, Justin Allgaier has a half second lead on Austin Cindric.
Ty Dillon had a bit of a mistake on pit road, he tried pitting in the wrong spot. He is now in eleventh place.
Lap 104, Justin Allgaier has a lead of nearly a second on Austin Cindric with AJ Allmendinger in third; Ty Gibbs and Josh Berry round out the top five.
AJ Allmendinger is driving a brand new car that was built for the playoffs.

Lap 118, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race by over a second on Austin Cindric.
After having to start the race from the back of the field, Noah Gragson has moved up to the top 10 in seventh place.

With over 80 laps remaining in the race, the drivers are not yet in their fuel window but still come down pit road for fresh tires. Justin Allgaier wins the race off of pit road.

Lap 130, Josh Berry and Ty Gibbs battle for third. AJ Allmendinger makes it a three way battle. Gibbs holds on to third but Allmendinger takes fourth from Berry.
Lap 132, the three way battle between Ty Gibbs, Josh Berry, and AJ Allmendinger continues with AJ taking third, Josh Berry in fourth, and Ty Gibbs in fifth.
Lap 134, Austin Cindric passes Justin Allgaier for the lead.
Lap 136, Austin Cindric leads the race with Justin Allgaier trying to chase him down; AJ Allmendinger, Josh Berry, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.
Lap 138, Justin Allgaier passes Austin Cindric to retake the lead.
Lap 142, Justin Allgaier leads the race with Austin Cindric in second; Josh Berry, AJ Allmendinger, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.
Lap 143, Noah Gragson passes AJ Allmendinger for fourth.
Lap 144, Justin Allgaier has encountered slower traffic; there are 20 cars on the lead lap.
Lap 145, Noah Gragson has overcome two pit road penalties today and is currently in fourth place over a second and a half behind the leader.
Lap 147, the drivers are now in their pit window to make it to the end of the race on fuel.
Lap 148, Justin Allgaier leads the race; Josh Berry, Austin Cindric, Noah Gragson, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.
Carson Ware is once again off the track.

Lap 160 Josh Berry passes Justin Allgaier for the lead as the battle between Noah Gragson and Austin Cindric continues.

Lap 164, Josh Berry leads the race with Justin Allgaier in second; Noah Gragson, Austin Cindric, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.
With 36 laps remaining in the race, teams are discussing when to come down pit road for that last load of fuel and tires.
