In a rare Sunday event the Xfinity Series kicks off a doubleheader day from Pocono Raceway with the Pocono Green 225.
After no practice or qualifying runs, NASCAR has set the field by their metrics formula putting Harrison Burton on the pole with Justin Allgaier starting alongside on the front row.

Riley Herbst has to start the race from the back of the field after the crew made some unapproved adjustments. Jesse Iwuji has been moved to the back of the field after a driver change.
Driving the number eight JR Motorsports car for the remainder of the season, Sam Mayer celebrated his 18th birthday on June 26 and is now eligible to run on tracks larger than one mile.
Stages one and two are 20 laps each with stage three lasting 50 laps for a total of 90 laps around the two and a half mile track. Drivers can run around 48 laps on a single load of fuel.
Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and takes the lead. Drivers quickly get spread out across the track.
Lap two, Harrison Burton has a lead of over half a second on Justin Allgaier; AJ Allmendinger, Daniel Hemric, and Jeb Burton round out the top five.

Lap seven, Daniel Hemric takes second from Justin Allgaier.
After having to start the race from the back of the field due to a power steering issue that caused a part change – unapproved adjustment – Riley Herbst has moved up 16 spots to 21st.
Lap eleven, Daniel Hemric has caught up to leader Harrison Burton and is challenging for the lead.
The first caution flag of the race comes out on lap eleven after Josh Williams has some on track contact and gets into the wall.
Some of the drivers come down pit road for service.
Harrison Burton brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with just three laps remaining in stage one and battle Justij Allgaier for the lead. Harrison Burton edges out for the lead with Daniel Hemric taking second.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two and battle Myatt Snider for the lead.
The caution flag come out for a big crash on lap 25. Justin Haley hit the wall hard; he is out of the car and laying on the track. Haley is up and walking to the ambulance. Sam Mayer and Ryan Vargas were also involved. Haley hit the outside wall and then came down across the track hitting the inside wall before moving back up the track and coming to a stop near the outside wall.
In an amazing feat of anticipation, Harrison Burton dropped down to the apron just before the wreck and avoided being slammed by Haley’s car as it moved across the track.
NASCAR has red flagged the race.
After a red flag delay of about 10 minutes, the cars are moving once again.
An emotional Ryan Vargas speaks after being checked out in the infield care center; saying that he had no place to go when he hit Haley’s car as it moved back up the track; adding that he regretted what happened.
Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with Myatt Snider on the inside lane on lap 29 and jumps out in front for the lead. Allgaier is the only driver on the track who has not made a pit stop.
The top five are Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, Harrison Burton, Myatt Snider, and Austin Cindric.
Lap 30, Austin Cindric passes Myatt Snider for fourth. Daniel Hemric challenges Justin Allgaier for the lead.
Lap 32, Daniel Hemric and Justin Allgaier battle for the lead with Hemric taking the lead. There are 36 cars on the lead lap.
Jade Buford has to make an unscheduled trip down pit road for a cut tire.
The caution flag comes out on lap 35 for a crash involving Harrison Burton; Burton got loose in a battle for second with Justin Allgaier and gets into the wall.
Some of the drivers come down pit road for service including Justin Allgaier who is making his first pit stop of the day.
Daniel Hemric is caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.
Justin Haley has been checked and released from the infield care center. Saying that it was one of the hardest hits he had ever taken, Haley said that he is fine. Haley said that he had the air knocked out of him and couldn’t breathe and that is why he was laying on the track. Haley is currently scheduled to run in the Cup Series race later today.
Ty Gibbs is the leader with Myatt Snider in second but Noah Gragson takes the inside lane.
Ty Gibbs brings the field down for a two lap shootout to the end of stage two. Drivers are getting four and fiive wide across the track. Ty Gibbs takes the lead with Noah Gragson in second.

Lap 46, Austin Cindric takes the lead after Ty Gibbs gets loose. Ty Gibbs and Noah Grason battle for second.
The caution flag comes out on lap 47 when Riley Herbst hits the outside wall after getting loose and spinning out. The hard hit has put Herbst out of the race. Herbst walks unaided to the ambulance.
Dale Earnhart Jr reports that Pocono has a record setting number of campers at the track this weekend; adding that they even had to open up some of the parking spots for the campers.
Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane on lap 50 with Noah Gragson on the inside. After a push from Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric gets out in front for the lead.

Lap 65, leader Daniel Hemric has a 16 second lead on Brett Moffitt. There are 28 cars on the lead lap with six cars out of the race.
Lap 69, Daniel Hemric has a 20 second lead on Brett Moffitt. Hemric still needs to make his pit stop.
Lap 71, leader Daniel Hemric finally makes his green flag pit stop and gives the lead over to Jeremy Clements.
Daniel Hermic had a long pit stop and was caught speeding on pit road for a second time. He will have to serve a pass through penalty.
Lap 73, Jeremy Clements is the leader; Alex Labbe, Austin Cindric, Ryan Sieg, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five. Clements still needs to make his pit stop.
