Lindsey Buckingham may no longer be a part of Fleetwood Mac, but he isn’t just sitting around twiddling his thumbs. Lindsey has been busy recording some new music in his home studio.
The self titled album is his first solo release in 10 years and is set for a September 17 release.
Speaking on his new album, Lindsey said, “my new self-titled album is one I’ve been intending to get out for a couple of years now, but on more than one occasion, unforeseen circumstances necessitated a postponement of plans. Now that we’re back in gear, I’m thrilled to finally be sharing this new music with my listeners!”
The album is being released in a variety of formats including vinyl and CD; as well as, the normal digital and streaming options. Fans may purchase a limited edition blue vinyl edition of the album via Buckingham’s own website.
Supporting his new venture, Lindsey has planned a tour of the U.S. beginning September 1. This will be the first time that he has taken the stage since heart surgery in 2019.
