The newest winner of the Academy of Country Music Awards Male Artist of the Year Thomas Rhett has announced that after a year of lock downs and closed venues will be returning to the road for a tour.

“The Center Point Road” tour will kick off in August and will include Cole Swindell and Gabby Barrett.

Like many artists, Rhett’s tour was interrupted by the pandemic last year.  Anyone who has purchased a ticket for the postponed shows will have those tickets honoured at the rescheduled shows.  Many of the dates are in outdoor venues.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale April 23.

Rhett spoke on his upcoming return to the road saying, “I can’t even put into words what getting back out on the road means to me, my band and crew. We’ve dreamt about this moment for a long time and I feel more rejuvenated and excited than ever to get back out there as safely as possible to connect in-person over live music again, especially with so much new material to share. There’s no feeling in the world like it – see y’all out there!”
