After the Daytona 500, Austin Dillon topped the NASCAR Cup Series point standings. This week he falls to ninth place, 40 points behind the leader.

After winning stage two in the road course race at Daytona and finishing the race in third place, Denny Hamlin takes over the lead with 104 points.

Kevin Harvick holds on to his top five standings but Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson have dropped out of the top 10.

Still early in the season, drivers will move up and down in the standings with each race.

The drivers who finish the regular season in the top 16 spots move on to the playoff rounds to compete for the championship. Drivers who win race stages earn a playoff point with the drivers finishing in the first 10 spots also earn points.
