When the racing season begins on January 30 with the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona nearly 200 drivers will take to the track in 49 cars in a variety of makes and models.

Between them, the list includes 50 previous Rolex 24 race winners.

While the Rolex 24 Hour endurance race kicks off the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series, drivers from NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula1, LeMans, and IMSA drivers will race side by side on the road course at Daytona.

For the 59th running of the endurance race there will be five classes of cars with the addition of the Le Mans Prototype 3 series.  The LMP3 series will join The Daytona Prototype, the GT Daytona, Le Mans Prototype 2, and the GT Le Mans series in the race.

Past winners in the 2021 Rolex 24 race include Andy Lally, Joao Barbosa, Scott Dixon, Ryan Briscoe, Juan Pablo Montoya, Filipe Albuquerque, Bill Auberlen, Mirko Bortolotti, Sebastian Bordais, Colin Braun, Augusto Farfus, Antonio Garcia, Rolf Ineichen, Kamui Kobayashi, Richard Lietz, John Potter, Spencer Pumpelly, Jordan Taylor, Renger van der Zande, AJ Allmendinger, Townsend Bell, Jonathan Bennett, Jonathan Bomarito, Andrea Caldarelli, Ryan Dalziel, Connor De Phillippi, Michael De Quesada, Pipo Derani, John Edwards, Philipp Eng, Oliver Gavin, Misha Goikhberg, Ben Hanley, Colton Herta, Oliver Jarvis, Ben Keating, Kenton Koch, Jesse Krohn, Corey Lewis, Patrick Long, Tommy Milner, and Daniel Morad.  NASCAR champions Jimmie Johnson and Chase Elliott are also in the field.
