Live performances are on hold for the foreseeable future and traditional recording is a study in logistics; but for veteran rockers there is a musical vault of material that didn’t make the cut on previous albums.

On January 13, 2021, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Def Leppard will open up their vault of music.  But instead of compiling a new album, the rockers are turning that vault into a form of museum filled with artifacts, stories, and special installations from the band’s history beginning in 1977.

Def Leppard’s Phil spoke on the project saying, “with the world shutdown at the moment, it was the perfect time to… raid our closets and basements and actually do a collection of kind of artifacts.”
