The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band KISS did not let a ban of large gatherings put a damper on their New Year’s Eve plans. The rockers broadcast via live stream a concert from The Royal Beach in Atlantis, Dubai that not only entertained thousands; but also set a couple of new records in the “Guinness Book of World Records”.
Known for some impressive pyrotechnics during their shows, KISS spent nearly a million dollars on them for the show. The performance broke the current records for the highest flame projection and the most flame projections launched simultaneously during a music concert.
The rockers were also hoping to break the record for the highest grossing live concert stream by a rock band; but there is no word on whether the attempt was successful.
