During the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series, Jeb Burton was one of several part time drivers for JR Motorsports in the number eight car.

With a number of Xfinity Series drivers moving up to the NASCAR Cup Series next season, some teams are now looking for drivers.

One such team is Kaulig Racing.  With Ross Chastain vacating the number 10 car, Kaulig Racing has signed Jeb Burton as a full time driver of the number 10 next season.  Nutrien Ag Solutions will serve as the primary sponsor on the number 10 car.

Jeb Burton will join Justin Haley as a Kaulig Racing team mate.

Speaking on his new ride, Burton said via a press release, “it’s an honor to have this opportunity driving full-time for Kaulig Racing and Nutrien Ag Solutions.  I’ve worked so hard, not only behind the wheel, to get an opportunity like this, and it couldn’t be more perfect – representing a brand with the same values and beliefs as my family. This partnership represents everything we are, and I can’t thank Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice and Nutrien Ag Solutions enough.”

Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice spoke on Burton via a team press release saying, “Jeb is a hard worker on and off the track. He’s a great fit for Kaulig Racing and our partners. I’ve known the Burton family and worked with them back in the 1980’s, so it feels like everything has come full circle. We are going to go out and compete for wins and championships. Jeb is a guy we can build a long term, successful program around.”

Jeb Burton is the nephew of former NASCAR Cup driver and current NBC Sports broadcaster Jeff Burton and the son of former NASCAR Cup driver Ward Burton.  Fellow Xfinity Series driver Harrison Burton is Jeb’s cousin.

The 27 year old Virginia native has driven in the NASCAR, Xfinity, and Gander Truck Series, starting in 133 total races; notching a win in the Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway in 2013.
