“Dancing with the Stars” has announced the premiere of season 29 on September 14 with Tyra Banks as the new host of the show.

With professional dancers  Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold both expecting babies early next year; the show has brought on two new pros to join the cast.

DWTS is becoming a family affair, this season’s cast includes three married couples; and with the new rule requiring all pro dancers to live in separate accommodations, should prove to be very challenging for the married dancers; especially sisters in law Jenna Johnson and Peta Murgatroyd who are looking to get pregnant at the same time.

While the “celebrity” dancers will be announced at a later date, it has been announced that “The Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristow will be a part of the show.

While original show host Tom Bergeron is no longer a part of the show, head judge Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli will be returning to take their seats at the judge’s table.

Along with married couples Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater and Sasha Farber, and Pasha Pashkov and new pro Daniella Karagoch; Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten,Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, and Gleb Savchenko will all be returning to the show.  Britt Stewart is the second of the new dancers; along with Karagoch that will be competing on their debut season.

Originally created as a competition reality series that paired Ballroom dancing professionals with celebrities who have no dance experience; DWTS has gotten criticism in recent years for allowing stars with a great deal of dance experience, controversial “stars”, and “stars” of questionable talent.
