As teams, owners, and players continue to work out the details for a pandemic 2020 NFL season, rules and protocols remain fluid.

The latest change is that the NFL will start the 2020 playing season without having played any pre-season games.

Eighty players per team will be allowed in camp as the NFL continues to limit contact between personnel.

Whether or not the teams will get some extra time in camp to prepare is still being debated.

The NFL Players Association is looking to allow high risk players the ability to opt out of the season like a number of MLB players and umpires have chosen to do.

Once in training camp, the players will be tested for the Covid-19 virus daily for the first two weeks.

Rookie players are already reporting to camp; while the veteran players will begin reporting in the next week.
