The Xfinity Series gets ready for another doubleheader weekend with the Alsco 300 from Kentucky Speedway.

With the top 15 cars inverted, Myatt Snider will sit on the pole with Jesse Little starting alongside on the front row. Last night’s winner Austin Cindric will start back in the pack in 15th place.

A number of drivers were involved in wrecks in Thursday night’s race with some having to go to a backup car. Any drivers who cannot run the same car in both races must start the second race from the back of the field. Ronnie Bassett Jr, Justin Allgaier, Timmy Hill, Kody Vanderwal, Brandon Brown, Colby Howard, Daniel Hemric, and Brandon Jones will all start the race in a backup car.

After making a visit to the infield care center when he was involved in a wreck, Justin Allgaier was sent to a local hospital for further evaluation with a non racing incident. He has been cleared by NASCAR to return to the track and will be in the race tonight.

Kurt Busch joins Clint Bowyer and Adam Alexander in the broadcast booth for tonight’s race.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the mile and a half track.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 20.

Brett Mofitt had to bring his car down pit road with a flat tire.

Lap nine, the top five are Jeremy Clements, Noah Gragson, Anthony Alfredo, Ross Chastain, and Justin Haley.

Justin Allgaier brings his car to pit road for an unscheduled stop; saying the car is wrecking loose. Allgaier started the race in a backup car.

Lap 12, Jeremy Clements and Noah Gragson swap the lead back and forth with Noah Gragson finally getting out in front for the lead.

After starting in 17th, Harrison Burton has moved up to sixth place.

Lap 15, afater starting the race in 15th, last night’s winner Austin Cindric moves into sixth place; putting Harrison Burton in seventh.

In Thursday’s race, Jeb Burton drove the number eight car for JR Motorsports; tonight Daniel Hemric takes over the driving duties in a backup car after Burton wrecked on the first lap of the race.

Lap 19, Noah Gragson has a half second lead on Jeremy Dlements; Anthony Alfredo, Ross Chastain, and Austin Cindric round out the top five.

Justin Allgaier returns to the track one lap down. Along with being loose, he had a flat tire.

Lap 21, Austin Cindric passes two cars at once, taking third place.

At the end of lap 21, NASCAR puts out the yellow flag for the competition caution.

Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 26 with Noah Gragson getting out in front for the lead; Jeremy Clements, Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Austin Cindric round out the top five.

There are 31 cars on the lead lap with one car out of the race – Kyle Weatherman.

Lap 28, Noah Gragson has a near half second lead on Jeremy Clements; Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, and Austin Cindric round out the top five.

Several drivers get together and freight train Ross Chastain, dropping him to eighth.

Lap 36, Noah Gragson continues to lead the race by over a second on Harrison Burton; Austin Cindric, Riley Herbst, and Jeremy Clements round out the top five.

FOX Sports broadcasters report that it was a brake rotar, probably from Kyle Weatherman’s car, that hit Justin Allgaier’s windshield.

Lap 40, Harrison Burton has closed the gap on Noah Gragson, whose lead is now under a second; Austin Cindric, Riley Herbst, and Anthony Alfredo round out the top five.

Lap 43, Noah Gragson, Harrison Burton, and and Austin Cindric are right on each other’s bumper.

There are 25 cars on the lead lap with two cars out of the race – Ryan Sieg and Kyle Weatherman. Chad Finchum and Stephen Leicht are off the track.

Lap 58, Harrison Burton holds on to a narrow lead on Austin Cindric; Anthony Alfredo, Chase Briscoe, and Riley Herbst round out the top five.

Riley Herbst was caught speeding on pit road. He will have to serve a pass through penalty.

Lap 151, Chase Briscoe comes down pit road for his pit stop and gives the lead over to Harrison Burton.

Lap 152, Harrison Burton comes down pit road and gives the lead over to Ross Chastain.

One Ross Chastain makes his pit stop, Austin Cindric wil retake the lead. Justin Allgaier is the only other driver yet to make a pit stop.

Lap 156, Ross Chastain and Justin Allgaier make their pit stops; giving the lead back to Austin Cindric with a lead of nine and a half seconds on Daniel Hemric; Brandon Jones, Chase Briscoe, and Anthony Alfredo round out the top five with just nine cars on the lead lap.

With 37 laps remaining in the race, Austin Cindric has left the field behind with a lead of over 10 seconds on Daniel Hemric; Brandon Jones, Chse Briscoe, and Anthony Alfredo round out the top five.

Battling Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones gets loose and spins out hitting the wall on lap 179 and brings out the caution flag. The yellow erases a lead of nearly 12 seconds for Austin Cindric. Daneil Hemric also has some damage to his car after getting into the wall.

After having an issue getting into his pit stall, Anthony Alfredo was charged with his team coming over the wall too soon and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

With just 13 laps remaining in the race, Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart with the drivers battling all through the field, bumping and banging for position. Austin Cindric is out in front for the lead. Justin Allgaier is finally back on the lead lap after getting a lap down early in the race due to a tire issue.

Ten to go, Austin Cindrci has a half second lead on Chse Briscoe; Justin Haley, Ross Chastain, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.
