Greg Hoy has released dozens of albums with different bands and under a variety of names. His latest incarnation is called Greg Hoy and the Boys.

His latest single “Leaving While You Stay” offers up a summer song about watching people. The release comes on the heels of the band having their summer tour cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A rebuke on current events, the lyrics include the line, “if you elect a clown, you’re going to get a circus.”

Hoy and The Boys recently entered the studio
and recorded an albums worth of music that they will be releasing some time in the near future…and hitting the road as soon as it is safely possible to do so.

A very busy boy, Greg Hoy has formed Greg Hoy and the Boys, Twice As Bright, and The Royal Panics; worked with The Last Town Chorus, Glenn Branca, J. Robbins, and Steve Albini; and has had his music played on “One Tree Hill” and “Made” on MTV. Hoy has also been a host on Arlene’s Grocery Punk Rock Heavy Metal Karaoke in New York City.
