Even the Covid-19 pandemic cannot halt a big anniversary.  Later this month BET will be celebrating 20 years of awarding the accomplishments of musicians, actors, and sport figures.

On June 28, the 20th anniversary celebration of the 2020 BET Awards will be broadcast on several of the Viacom/BCS network including CBS itself for the first time.  Due to the global pandemic and restrictions on crowd sizes; the BET Awards will be a virtual event with Amanda Seales serving as the host.

Canadian Urban artist Drake leads the way with six nominations.  Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Lizzo, and DaBaby have also earned multiple nominations.
