Looking forward to an awards gala this fall, the Americana Music Association has announced the nominees for the 2020 Americana Music Awards. Brandi Carlile and Brittany Howard lead the list of nominees. Carlile tops the list of nominations with seven; followed by Howard with five. The HIghwomen, Tanya Tucker, Nathaniel Rateliff, and the Black Pumas also garnered multiple nominations.
Currently the Awards gala is set for September 16 in Nashville at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
