Rock guitarist Derek Jones died April 21, 2020 at the age of 35. The official cause of death were not revealed.
Jones is best known as the guitar player for the rock band Falling in Reverse.
Jones formed Falling in Reverse with Ronnie Radke in 2008 with Radke as lead singer. Nick Rich, Gilbert Catalano, and Anthony Avila rounded out the original band. The rockers released their debut album, “The Drug in Me is You”, was released in 2011. An updated version of the song was released earlier this year; it would be Jones’ last song.
Before forming Falling in Reverse, Jones was a member of the band A Smile from the Trenches.
He was born June 5, 1984 in Lake Forest, California.
Jones is predeceased by his fiancee Christina Cetta who died late last year as a result of cancer.
