It seems that the new year has barely begun, but it is never too early to plan ahead for the holidays.
Emmy, Tony, and Grammy award winning Hall of Fame artist Barry Manilow has planned his fifth annual “Gift of Love” holiday benefit concerts in his desert home of Palm Springs, California.
“A Gift of Love 5” will take place December 8, 9, and 11-13 at the McCallum Theatre where Barry will be performing his hit songs and some holiday favourites.
Proceeds from the concerts are donated to 25 different charities. The ticket holder decides which charity will benefit from their tickets sales. While the hall must be rented and crew and artists must be paid; Barry is donating his time and talent to the project.
Tickets go on sale March 23 at 10am local time and are available on AGOL5.com or by calling 424-298-4818. Ticket prices range from $60 to $500 plus a $3,00 McCallum facility fee. There are priority, gold, platinum, and sponsorship packages also available that include meet and greets with Barry.
Included in the list of charities is the Manilow Music Project, animal rescue charities, the Desert AIDS Project, and Jewish Family Services.
