The Xfinity Series finishes out round one of their playoffs with Miles the Monster and the Use Your Melon Drive Sober 200. This is the first elmination race for the Xfinithy drivers; by the end of the race, 12 will become eight drivers still vying for the championship.

After winning the pole, Chase Briscoe’s car had an electrical issue and he will have to start the race from the the back of the field. Austin Cindric moves up to the pole position and will bring the field to green.

Michael Annett will also have to start the race from the back of the field after making an engine change.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the one mile concrete track.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and jumps out in front for the lead. The caution flag comes out on the first lap of the race for a wreck involving Brandon Jones and Harrison Burton. Jones is one of the 12 playoff drivers and his chances of moving on to the next round is in danger.

With a busted radiator, Brandon Jones is out of the race. He was eleven points below the cut off line when the race began and becomes the first driver eliminated from the playoffs.

Harrison Burton is also out of the race.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap eight and holds on to his lead with Justin Allgaier in second.

Lap eleven, Jeremy Clements makes an unscheduled trip down pit road with a smoking car. Clements believes that the engine has blown on his car.

Lap 13, Austin Cindric has a second and a half lead on Justin Allgaier with Christopher Bell in third nearly two seconds back.

Tyler Reddick also sustained damage in the lap one wreck and is on pit road making repairs.

Lap 16, Christopher Bell brushes the wall and brings his car down pit road. The crew has the hood up on pit road.

Lap 17, Austin Cindric continues to hold a one second lead on Justin Allagier.

The caution flag comeso ut after John Hunter Nemechek makes contact with Mike Harmon and sends Harmon into the wall.

Austin Cindrick brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 27 but it is Justin Allgaier who gets out in front first to take the lead.

Lap 29, there are 29 cars on the lead lap with Justin Allgaier leading the way. After starting at the back of the field, Cahse Briscoe and Michael Annett are in the top 15.

Lap 33, Justin Allgaier is in the lead by over half a second on Cole Custer with Austin Cindric in third over a second back.

Thirteen laps down, Christopher Bell returns to the track with a new carburetor.

Lap 38, Justin Allgaier holds on to his lead over Cole Custer with Austin Cindric in third place with 28 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 40, Cole Custer has closed the gap on leader Justin Allgaier to just a quarter of a second.

Lap 42, the teams are encountering lapped traffic.

Lap 43, Justin Allgaier’s lead is down to a tenth of a second.

After not winning any races this season, Justin Allgaier wins stage one with Cole Custer coming in second.

Lap 60, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of nearly a second on Austin Cindric with Noah Gragson in third nearly a second and a half back with 25 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 64, Justin Allgaier’s lead is now over a second on Austin Cindric.

Lap 70, Justin Allgaier leads the way with Austin Cindric in second, Chase Briscoe, Noah Gragson, and Zane Smith round out the top five.

Lap 72, Justin Allgaier has a one second lead on Austin Cindric.

Lap 75, there are only 20 cars on the lead lap. Austin Cindric has closed the gap on leader Justin Allgaier to three quarters of a second.

Lap 80, Justin Allgaier has a near one second lead on Austin Cindric.

Lap 82, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a one and a half second lead on Austin Cindric with Chase Briscoe in third over two seconds back. There are only 16 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 86, Justin Allgaier continues to lead the race by nearly a second and a half over Austin Cindric.

Justin Allgaer sweeps the stages with a stage two win.

John Hunter Nemechek had to make a second trip down pit road for loose lug nuts and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Noah Gragson had an issue on pit road and also starts the race from the back of the field when an air gun froze up.

Lap 108, Chase Briscoe is in the lead; Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, and Zane Smith round out the top five.

Lap 112, Chase Briscoe is in the lead with Justin Allgaier in second.

Lap 119, Leader Chase Briscoe is reporting some possible issues with his car; he currently has a two second lead on Justin Allgaier.

Lap 123, Chase Briscoe has a lead of nearly two and a half seconds on Justin Allgaier; Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, and Zane Smith round out the top five.

Lap 129, Chase Briscoe has a two and a half second lead on Justin Allgaier with just 15 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 135, Chase Briscoe continues to hold on to the lead with Austin Cindric over two seconds back.

Lap 139, Chase Briscoe has a lead of over a second and a half on Justin Allgaier with Austin Cindric in third.

Lap 143, the drivers cannot complete the race on a single fuel load and will have to make a pit stop.

Justin Allgaier is very slowly creeping up to leader Cahse Briscoe, Briscoe has a second and a half lead on Allgaier. There are eleven cars on the lead lap.

As the race continues, drivers are clinching their spots in the next round of the playoffs; on lap 151, only one more spot remains open.

Lap 156, Chase Briscoe has a lead of over a second and a half lead on Justin Allgaier with 10 cars on the lead lap.

With 41 laps to go, Noah Gragson has trouble getting the car slowed down to make his green flag pit stop. The team has issues with the left rear tire causing a slow pit stop.

Leader Chase Briscoe has passed John Hunter Nemechek putting him a lap down; there are now only nine cars on the lead lap.

Lap 165, Chase Briscoe has a two second lead on Justin Allgaier; third place driver Cole Custer is over three seconds back.

With all the pit stops, there are only three cars on the lead lap with three more expected to take the wave around.
