On September 21 the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls, New York took a trip back in time – back to even before the Hard Rock Cafe was created – to the early days of rock and roll with the Rockabilly band V-Syx.

While members of the Swing Buffalo danced the night away, V-Syx performed a mix of cover tunes and original songs.

With music from artists like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Bill Haley, and Little Richard; the band rocked the house with a set list that included “Jailhouse Rock”, “Oh Boy”, “Come On Let’s Go”, “Great Balls of Fire”, “Big Kahuna”, Hound Dog”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Mama Tried”, “Take This Job and Shove it”, “Sea Hag”, “Rip it Up”, “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On”, “Honey Don’t”, “Good Golly Miss Molly”, “Move it on Over”, “Shake, Rattle, and Roll”, “Runaway”, and “Blue Suede Shoes”.

There were no girls on roller skates or poodle skirts in this “Malt Shoppe”, but the music was fun and had the house bopping on a Saturday night.
