When “Dancing with the Stars” premieres
Season 28 on September 16, it will feature two athletes, three singers, a model, a political refugee, and several TV stars.

After taking the winter off for a break, DWTS has made a few changes including new Ballroom pros and not revealing the partnerships until the show goes on the air.

The season 28 DWTS celebrity dancers are:
Country music singer and “American Idol” alum (she came in second to winner Scotty McCreery in season 10) Lauren Alaina
Supermodel Christie Brinkley ( she was once married to Billy Joel)
Pop singer, Fifth Harmony member, and “X Factor” alum Ally Brooke
Former Miss Alabama and “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown
Three time Emmy Award winning show host Karamo Brown, he is best known for “queer Eye”
Entertainer Kate Flannery is a multi faceted performer who is best known for her role as Meredith the drunk on nine seasons of the hit television sitcom “The Office”
NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis spent 13 years helping to hold down the defense; he is a two time Defensive Player of the Year and a Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens
Award winning actor and comic Kel Mitchell got his start in the series “All That” and is now an executive producer on the show along with appearing in a number of other children’s programs
Two time NBA champion Lamar Odom helped the Los Angeles Lakers win two basketball championships; retired from basketball, he is now a professional speaker
Beltway insider Sean Spicer is one of the former White House press secretaries for the Trump administration
Award winning stage and screen actor James Van Der Beek has appeared in numerous films and television productions but is perhaps best known for his title role in the television drama “Dawson’s Creek”
Known for many years as simply one of The Supremes, Mary Wilson has carved a very successful solo career of her own after the singing trio broke up; not inly as a singer, but also as a businesswoman and humanitarian

In the professional ranks, the season will feature two new cast members and for the first time on the show two married couples will be facing off against each other when Emma Slater and Sasha Farber and Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy take the dance floor. Joining them will be new dancers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Paskov; and DWTS regulars Brandon Armstrong, Lindsey Arnold, Alan Bersten, Cheryl Burke, Witney Carson, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, and Gleb Savchenko.

Tom Bergeron returns to host the show, along with Erin Andrews.

Head judge Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba will also return to the judges table to score the routines.
