British rockers The Cure are celebrating 40 years of music with a musical release, but not just any music…live music.

On October 18 Eagle Rock Entertainment is set to release “40 LIVE – Curaetion-25 + Anniversary”. The collection is being offered as a limited edition release in a two BluRay/DVD discs and four CD deluxe package, a two Blu-Ray-DVD package, and stand alone digital downloads.

The deluxe package comes with a 40 page hard book and the two disc package comes with a 16 page hard book.

The performance is from the Meltdown Festival at the Royal Festival Hall in London in June of 2018. In that show Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O’Donnell, and Reeves Gabrels performed music from all 13 of The Cure’s albums in chronological order; along with some new tunes in the middle of the performance.

The Anniversary show in Hyde Park on July 7 is also included in the package. Playing before 65,000 fans The Cure played for over two hours, performing 29 songs.
