NASCAR coming into any town is a spectacle worth seeing. In Bristol they make a grand parade out of the haulers coming into town.

For the second year, Las Vegas has created its own unique way to celebrate when the teams arrive into town…The Great Burnout!

This year the post season begins at the track in Las Vegas. As a part of the festivities, the 16 drivers who have made it to the playoffs will drive down the famous Las Vegas Strip on September 12. Appropriately the event is being sponsored by Goodyear – the official tires of NASCAR.

Beginning at Planet Hollywood the drivers will drive north to Spring Mountain Road (between Fashion Show and Wynn Las Vegas) where they will then put on a spectacle reserved for part of the post race festivities – the burn out.

NASCAR fans across the country will have the opportunity to view the event along with all the fans in Las Vegas when NBCSN broadcasts it live beginning at 7pm eastern time.
