It’s the final night of the Battle Rounds on “The Voice”. Adam, John, and Kelly all have seven members on their teams and have used all of their steals; Blake has one steal left and needs two singers to fill his team.
Team Adam gets the night started off with Andrew Jannakos and Patrick McAloon for a battle of the Tom Petty song “Freefallin’”. After an impressive performance, Adam chose Andrew as the winner of the battle. Adam’s team is now full.
Blake paired up Selkii and Cecily Hennigan for a battle of “Head Above Water” by Avril Lavigne. Saying that he has been torn over the pairing, Blake chose Selkii as the winner of the battle.
In a clip Blake paired Carter Lloyd Horne and Lili Joy in a battle of “I Got You Babe” with Carter being named the winner.
Also in a clip, Kelly paired Alena D’Amico and Karen Galera for a battle of “Imagine” with Karen being named the winner. Kelly’s team is full.
In the final battle, John paired Kayslin Victoria and Oliv Blu for a battle of the Khalid hit “Location”. Khalid told the girls that he wrote the song in the shower when he was a high school senior; adding that he didn’t want to he hear himself in the performance, he wanted to hear the girls. John chose Kayslin as the winner of the battle. Blake used his final steal on Oliv Blu.
Next week starts a new twist on “The Voice” when the singers will compete in cross battles where they will not learn who they are battling until they walk out on the stage.
