Every fan of “Peter Pan” knows that Neverland is a magical place that has been seen on the screen…until now. On April 27 and 28 visitors to The Strong Museum in Rochester, New York can travel to Neverland where they can go on a treasure hunt, meet characters from the story, and ride on a pirate ship.
The festivities run from 11am to 4pm on April 27 and 1pm to 4pm on April 28.
The Neverland play area features fairy wings and pirate hooks, get sprinkled with fairly dust from Tinker Bell, pilot the Jolly Roger, and take a photo with Peter Pan.
Wendy Daring will read a story and visitors can construct their own fairy house that can submitted into the Corn Hill Arts Festival Fairy House Tour in July.
The Strong is open Monday thru Thursday form 10am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
Admission to The Strong is $16 and free to members and children under the age of two; entrance into the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden is an additional fee of $4 for members and $5 for non members with children under the age of two are free.
