Race car drivers don’t just because it is their job, they race because they love racing and will drive anything with wheels when given the chance.
And that includes swapping rides with other drivers when the opportunity presents itself.
In a swap between NASCAR’s Peak Mexico and Whelen Euro Series, the champions in each series will swap a ride.
Peak Mexico Series champion Ruben Garcia will drive in the Euro Series ELITE 1 division road course race in Valencia, Spain April 13 and 14.
And on November 30 and December 1, the 2019 Euro Series champion will run the Peak Mexico Series finale Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico.
Garcia is a two time Peak Series champion, a Drive for Diversity and NASCAR Next driver, and a full time driver in the K&N Pro Series East driver.
Noting that he has been trying to put something together for the past couple of years, Garcia said that hearing about the swap was “great news”. He adds that while he has been to Spain before, he has never been to Valencia.
