The blind auditions are over and it is time for the Battles to begin on “The Voice”.
Again this season the coaches are bringing a little celebrity help to mentor their teams for the battle rounds.
Adam has brought in Charlie Puth
Kelly has brought in Kelsea Ballarini
John has brought in Khalid
and Blake has brought in the Hall of Fame duo Brooks and Dunn
John kicks off the battles with four chair turns Matthew Johnson and Shawn Sounds performing “Never too Much” by Luther Vandross. John chose Shawn Sounds as the winner of the battle.
And the steal returns again this season and Adam wasted no time in pushing his button. Kelly folowed right behind him. Matthew chose Kelly to be his new coach.
Next up, Kelly paired the family trio The Bundys against Mikaela Astel for a performance of “Songbird”. Kely chose the family trio of The Bundys as the winners of the battle.
Blake paired up Gyth Rigdon and Rod Stokes for a battle with “Drunk Me”. After saying they both gave 150 percent, Blake chose Gyth Rigdon as the winner of the battle. Adam pushed his button to steal Rod.
Adam paired up Domenic Haynes and Trey Rose for a battle off “I Need a Dollar”. Adam chose Domenic Haynes as the winner of the battle.
John chose to pair Savannah Brister and Maelyn Jarmon for a battle with “When We Were Young” by Adele. John chose Maelyn Jarmon as the winner of the battle. Comeback coach Bebe Reha chose Savannah as her first singer in the battle rounds.
Kelly paired up Beth Griffith-Manley and Jej Vinson for the final battle of the night. The duo sang “Jealous” for their battle. Kelly chose Jej Vincent as the winner of the battle. John quickly pushed his button to steal Beth.
