It was a woman’s world at this year’s iHeart Radio Awards where female artists dominated the list of winners, many becoming the first to do so

“The Masked Singer” winner T-Pain hosted the gala event that honours radio airplay from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

Ariana Grande, Cardi B., Ella Mai, and Alicia Keys all broke the male dominated wins in their categories.

Drake, 5 Seconds of Summer, Three Days Grace, and Bad Bunny also became first time winners.

After Halsey, Travis Barker and Yungblud opened the show; Ariana Grande (via a taped performance), Ella Mai, Alicia Keys accompanied by her eight year old son, Marshmello with Lauv, Garth Brooks, Kacey Musgraves with Chris Martin, John Legend, lovelytheband and the Backstreet Boys all performed during the awards presentation.
