After a day of celebrating Jingle Falls with carriage rides and ice skating, Old Falls Street and the Hard Rock Cafe capped off the night with a performance under the big white tent by the wild and crazy 80’s band Nerds Gone Wild.

A Nerds Gone Wild performance is not just five guys on stage just singing party music from the eighties it is a full on show with crazy costumes, dancing all over the stage…and sometimes off, props, a light show – including lights inside the drums, and even the occasional foray into the audience.

Kicking off the month of December and the 25 days of Christmas; the western New York rockers began the night of music with “Always Something There to Remind Me”.

Stirring the crowd into a frenzy that had them shedding coats and even boots, Nerds Gone Wild performed two full sets of music with the “Break Up Song”, “Melt with You”, “Don’t You Want Me Baby”, “Tainted Love”, an English rendition of “99 Luft Balloons” complete with balloons being tossed in the air, “Let’s Dance”, “Footloose”, “Take on Me”, “Jesse’s Girl”, “Your Love”, “Sunglasses at Night”, an 80’s dance medley, “Living on a Prayer, “Runaway”, a tribute to Queen with “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Take Me Home Tonight”, “Don’t You Forget About Me”, “I Ran”, “You Spin Me Round”, a “special appearance” by Milton Jackson – Tito’s son (Michael’s nephew) for “Billie Jean and “Beat It”, “Walking on Sunshine”, “Sedated”, “500 Miles”, “Blister in the Sun”, “Africa”, “Jump”, “Rebel Yell”, and “Fight for Your right (to Party)”.

The band ended the night with an encore performance of Journey songs including “Separate Ways” and “Don’t Stop Believing”.

Outside it was getting bleak with cloud laden skies and rain, but under the tent the place was rocking with music, bright lights, and dancing with the party animals known as Nerds Gone Wild.
