After the triple header weekend in Kentucky, NASCAR has charged two teams with rules violations. The Xfinity Series number 22 Team Penske car driven by Paul Menard was charged with not having all 20 of their lug nuts secured. As a result of the infraction, crew chief Brian Wilson has been fines $5,000.

In the Camping World Truck Series, the number 24 GMS Racing truck driven by Justin Haley was also charged with not having all of the lug nuts properly secured. Crew chief Kevin Bellicourt was fined $2,500 for the infraction.

There were no penalties issued for the Monster Energy Cup Series drivers.
