Texas Country Rockers the Scooter Brown features two military veterans in their lineup, so it is only natural that the guys would spend time performing for the troops. And on July 4 they spent some time performing at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

A veteran who has spent time in the desert overseas, Scooter spoke on their performing for active military saying, “I think after leaving the military you always feel like you need to serve in some form or fashion. For me, especially being overseas, and being thousands of miles away from your home, anything that can give you a little piece of home was so important to me. I kind of feel like that’s what we do when we come onto a base. We’re kind of bringing a little piece of that back.”

Scooter and the band is currently on tour around the U.S.
