Reality TV star Richard Harrison died June 25 in Las Vegas at the age of 77. It is believed that Harrison’s death is a result of his Parkinson’s Disease.

Harrison was best known to fans of the reality series “Pawn Stars” as the “Old Man” who ran the “Gold & Slver Pawn” shop in Las Vegas.

Since the debut of “Pawn Stars” where he appeared in 272 episodes, Harrison has appeard as himself on an episode of “American Restoration”, “The 2011 American Country Awards”, and “Midway USA’s Gun Stories”.

Son Rick Harrison said, “he was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad.”

He was born Richard Benjamin Harrison on March 4, 1941 in Lexington, North Carolina.

Prior to opening the pawn shop with his son, Harrison was a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife of over 50 years Joanne, son Rick, and grandson Corey.
