On May 5 “American Idol” pared the remaining seven singers down to only five, but it was not all bad news for the two eliminated singers.
Host Ryan Seacrest announced that this summer the top seven would be going on a U.S. tour. Season eight winner Kris Allen will be joining Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Catie Turner, Gabby Barrett, Jurnee, Maddie Poppe, and Michael J. Woodward on the tour. The boy band In Real Life will be joining the tour on select dates.
Tickets for the tour go on sale May 11. VIP packages that include premium seating and a meet and greet will also be available.
