A lot of musicians today are copying their musical idols and are seeking success as tribute bands.  Meanwhile, artists like Ana Popovic seek to keep the music alive by creating and performing new original music.

On April 19 Ana Popovic and her band played before a full house in the Bear’s Den Showroom at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in a night filled with music.

Fans were not sitting stoically in their seats  as Ana rocked the stage with Blues, Funk, and Jazz; but were clapping and moving to the beat of the music as Ana performed mostly her original music.

While she played a variety of songs from her musical career, Ana focused on the music from her latest album “Trilogy” – a three CD collection with each album having its own theme of Blues, Funk, and Jazz – including “Long Road Down”, “New Coast of Paint”, “If Tomorrow Was Today”, and “Show You How Strong You Are”.

Along with Joe Bonamassa – who appears on “Trilogy” and has shared the stage with her – Ana Popovic has assured that the future of the Blues is secure and will live on for many years to come.
