The blind auditions are over ant it’s time for the battles to begin on “The Voice”. And while the blocks are all gone, the steal makes a return.

Once again the coaches have recruited some help for mentoring their team members.

Team Alicia gets the battles stated off with Sharane and Jamai with “Mercy” by Shawn Mendes. Alicia has tapped award winning entertainer Shawn Mendes to help her out with her artists. Noting that there were some wow moments, Adam called the battle a dead heat. Blake called both of them incredible performers. Alicia said that she was supremely proud of the battle. Alicia chose Sharane as the winner of the battle.

Next up Kelly has tapped Halee Steinfeld for her advisor. Kelly has paired Brynn and Dylan for a battle of “Ready for It” by Taylor Swift. Calling the performance crazy, Alicia loved it; adding it was well done. Adam said that they had infectious energy; adding that Brynn is a star. Blake noted that Dylan was like one of those guys from “Grease” and a really good singer. Blake said that Brynn didn’t sound like anybody else; adding that she had a lot of energy and power. Saying that Dylan had magical pressence on stage and Brynn had an old soul vibe, Kelly named Brynn as the winner of the battle. Dylan was walking off the stage when Blake pushed his button to steal Dylan.

Blake brought in his “Hillbilly Bone” partner Trace Adkins for an advisor. He paired Jesslee and Kyla Jade for a battle of the Ariana Grande song “One Last Time”. Kelly loved the performance; adding that Jesslee is amazing and Kyla makes it look effortless. Alicia said that they did a beautiful and incredible job; adding that both shined. Blake called them incredible. Blake chose Kyla as the winner of the battle.

Adam brought in singer and songwriter Julia Michaels for a battle of the Rufus with Chaka Kahn hit “Sweet Thing”. Adam noted that the moment could not have happened without the two of them toghether. Kelly said that she would love to have both of them on her team. Blake called both singers equal. Alicia said that they did an amaing job. Adam said that Rayshun showed who he was when he kept up with Trish. Noting that both singers should be in the competition, Adam chose Rayshun as the winner of the battle. Kelly stole Tish for her team.

In her second batle Alicia paired Christiana Danielle and Shana Halligan for a performance of the Kings of Leon song “Use Somebody”. During rehearsals Shawn noted that the girls had a musical connection and belonged together. Adam noted that he had never heard the song done that way before; adding that both girls were unique. Kelly called the performance award show caliber. Blake called them equal but different at the same time. Alicia loved the version of the song; adding it took her to another place. Calling it a beautiful performance, Alicia chose Christiana as the winer of the battle.

In the final battle of the night, Kelly paired up Jackie Foster nad D.R. King for a performance of “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles and brought the house to their feet. Alicia called it her favourite battle of the day. Adam called it a special thing and he was glad that he got to hear it. Kelly said that she loves both singers and chose D.R. King as the winner of the battle; noting that she knows Jackie will be saved. All three of the remaining coaches putshed to steal Jackie. Saying that it was harder than choosing a college, Jackie chose Adam to be her new coach.
