TV talent shows aren’t the only places to find and showcase young and up and coming musicians, local venues also offer a place to see and hear good music.

On Feb 23 the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls, New York featured the music of area artists with 13 year old Ally Marella and Noah Moses.

Getting the night of music started was Ally who performed as her vocal coach Zach Carr played the keyboard, sang with a music track, and played the keyboard herself as she sang.

Ally’s set included “every Breath You Take”, “I Will Always Love You”, “Stay” by Rihanna, “Hero”, “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith, and the original song “Take Me Away”.

Then Noah took the stage with Lex on bass and Steve on drums for some rocking Blues that not only had Noah playing the guitar and singing, but also offering up some pretty impressive harmonica playing.

His performance included “When Love Comes to Town”, “Whammer Jammer” by The J. Geils Band, his favourite Allman Brothers song “Soulshine”, and the original song “Restless Blues”.

Ally Marella returned to the stage for another set that included the original songs “Brave” and “By Your Side”, “And I’m Telling You”, “You Raise Me Up”, and “All of Me”.

When Noah returned to the stage to finish out the night it became a family jam as he filled the stage with brothers and more rocking Blues with a performance that included the song “Forward Something” – a song that the band had just completed the video for less than an hour before taking the stage and the original song “From the Water”.

During the night Ally and Noah helped to keep the full house rocking and showing what is in store for the future of the musical culture of western New York.
