In the past two weeks the International Olympic Committee has awarded a total of 281 gold, silver, and bronze medals to athletes in 29 of the over 90 countries participating in the 23rd Winter Olympic games.
With only one more day of competition remaining, Norway continues to hold the lead in the overall medal count; but Germany has tied Norway for the most gold medals with 13 each.
Canada has taken over the number two spot in the overall count with the United States in fourth place.
