Once the Winter Olympics in South Korea have concluded, season 14 of “The Voice” will begin with a new judge…and a new twist.

Kelly Clarkson joins the panel of coaches, along with returning coach Alicia Keys and “The Voice” mainstays Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

After 13 seasons, the big red chairs are getting an upgrade with hand sculpted aluminum shells, LED modules, new cup holders…and a new button.

This season, “The Voice” is introducing a new twist – a block button!

In past seasons if more than one coach pushes their button for an artist, the coaches battled it out begging the artist to choose them. This season once during the blind auditions a coach can use the new block button to prevent one of their fellow coaches from getting the artist. But the blocked coach will not learn that they have been blocked until after all of the chairs are turned around.

Each coach can use their new block option only once during the blind auditions. This will really up the ante when it comes time for the steals.
