Crooner and Jingle singer Dick Noel died October 27 2017 in Escondido, California as the result of pancreatic cancer at the age of 90.
Along with performing numerous commercial jingles – it is believed that he sang on some 15,000 ads – Noel performed during the Big Band era with the Ray Anthony Orchestra He also performed on television shows with Arthur Godfrey and Tennessee Ernie Ford. Before making the move to television, Noel appeared on a number of radio programs as a singer.

He was born Richard L. Noel on in Brooklyn, New York.
During World War II, Noel served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Admiral H.T. Mayo.
Noel is survived by his wife of 40 years Nancy and children – Patricia, Catherine, Ken, Cliff, and Laura.
