The Craftsman Truck Series kicks off a doubleheader weekend at Kansas Speedway with the Race to Stop Suicide 200.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature has once again stepped in and practice and qualifying for the race on Saturday afternoon has been cancelled. The field will be set by the NASCAR metric.

Stages one and two are just 30 laps each with stage three lasting 74 laps for a total of 134 laps around the 1.5 mile track. Drivers can run 50 to 53 laps on a single load of fuel. And the drivers have an extra set of tires after practice was cancelled.

Nick Sanchez brings the field down for the green flag start of the race with Jake Garcia alongside. Kaden Honeycutt and Nick Sanchez battle for the lead as the drivers get three wide across the track.
Lap three, Kaden Honeycutt leads the race with Stewart Friesen and Nick Sanchez in a battle for second; Jake Garcia and Gio Ruggiero round out the top five.
Lap six, Kaden Honeycutt has a one second lead on Gio Ruggiero; Stewart Friesen, Jake Garcia, and Ty Majeski round out the top five. Layne Riggs has moved up 12 spots since race start in 22st.
Lap eight, points leader Layne Riggs has entered the top 10.
Lap 12, the top five are Kaden Honeycutt, Gio Ruggiero, Stewart Friesen, Ty Majeski, and Nick Sanchez.
The 81 truck driven by Kris Wright has taken his truck to the garage with a mechanical issue.
Lap 15, Kaden Honeycutt has a one second lead on Gio Ruggiero but is reporting some voltage issues and has already turned off all of the fans.
Lap 17, Layne Riggs has entered the top five.
Kaden Honeycutt has a near second and a half lead on Gio Ruggiero; Ty Majesski, Layne Riggs, and Nick Sanchez round out the top five.
Lap 20, Kaden Honeycutt has begun passing slower traiffic with 31 trucks on the lead lap.
Lap 23, Layne Riggs passes Ty Majeski for third.
Leland Honeyman made an unscheduled trip down pit road for a possible loose wheel.
Josh Reaume made a stop on pit road and was charged with having too many crew members over the wall and will have to serve a passthrough penalty.
Lap 26, Kaden Honeycutt has pulled out to a lead of over a second and a half on Gio Ruggiero; Layne Riggs, Ty Majeski, and Nick Sanchez round out the top five.
Kaden Honeycutt wins stage one for his fifth stage win of the season.

Drivers come down pit road for service. Chandler Smith is reporting a very tight condition.
Landen Lewis was charged with vehicle interference after hitting the tire carrier on Chandler Smith’s crew and will restart the race from the back of the longest line.
Caleb Costner was caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the longest line.
Chandler Smith hit one of Brent Crews’ tires coming into his pit stall and has been charged with vehicle interference.
Kaden Honeycut brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two with Gio Ruggiero alongside on lap 37. Honeycutt gets a push from Christian Eckes to take the lead. Eckes takes second.
The top five are Kaden Honeycutt, Christian Eckess, Gio Ruggiero, Layne Riggs, and Nick Sanchez.
Layne Riggs passes Gio Ruggiero for third.
Lap 39, Kaden Honeycutt and Christian Eckes battle for the lead.
Lap 40, Kaden Honeycutt leads the race with Christian Eckes in second; Layne Riggs, Gio Ruggieor, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.
Cole Butcher is slowed on the track with a tire issue.
Kris Wright is out of the race with a fuel pump issue.
Lap 43, Christian Eckes and Kaden Honeycutt battle for the lead.
Lap 44 Kaden Honeycutt and Layne Riggs battle for the lead.
The caution flag comes out on lap 45 for a Connor Hall crash.
Some of the drivers came down pit road for service with a number of them receiving penalties.
Layne Riggs is also having alternator issues.
Kaden Honeycutt brings the field down for the green flag restart with Layne Riggs alongside on lap 49. Drivers spread out three and four wide on the restart. Layne Riggs takes the lead.
There are reports that bad weather is on the way.
Lap 50, Kaden Honeycutt retakes the lead.
Lap 50, the top five are Kaden Honeycutt, Layne Riggs, Christian Eckes, Nick Sanchez, and Gio Ruggiero.

The caution flag comes out on lap 55 for Connor Hall who spins out for a second time in the same spot.

Rain has arrived at the track and pit road is closed. If the rain continues, the race is official at this point.
As it stands right now, Kaden Honeycutt leads the point standings over Layne Riggs by one point.
Todd Bodine noted that NASCAR needs to get the drivers racing again to get the DW vortex going and keep the rain away. Darrell Waltrip contended that when the cars move around the track it creates a vortex that keeps the rain out.
Drivers come down pit road for service with Ben Rhodes staying out on the track. Layne Riggs has some right rear damage, the crew said that they couldn’t do anything about it. Layne Riggs had a slow pit stop after pulling away from his pit stall before the crew had finished changing the tires. The jackman dropped the jack before the lug nuts were on the front tire.
Christian Eckes won the race off of pit road.
Ben Rhodes brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three with Grant Enfinger alongside on lap 65. Enfinger takes the lead.
The top five are Grant Enfinger, Ben Rhodes, Kaden Honeycutt, Corey LaJoie, and Mini Tyrrell.
The caution flag comes out on lap 65 for a big crash involving several trucks. After staying out on the track, on old tires, Clayton Green backed up the field that trigged a wreck involving Nick Leitz, Tanner Gray, Daniel Dye, Stewart Friesen, and Leland Hneyman Jr.
Grant Enfinger’s crew has pulled out the umbrellas and are about ready for a dance to bring the rain.
NASCAR is bringing the trucks down pit road and brings out the red flag as it begins to rain. Officials have told the drivers they may exit their trucks and the crews can cover the trucks at 2:35edt on lap 70 of 134.
After a delay of nearly five hours, the track is dry and the trucks are rolling again for the final 65 laps of the race.
Once pit road opened, many of the drivers came down pit road for service but the leaders stayed out on the track.
Mini Tyrrell was charged with an uncontrolled tire on pit road and will have to restart from the back of the longest line.
Grant Enfinger brings the field down for the green flag restart with Ben Rhodes alongside. Grant Enfinger gets a big push from Kaden Honeucutt to take the lead.
Lay Riggs has already entered the top 10.
Lap 79, the top five are Kaden Honeycutt, Ben Rhodes, Ty Majeski, Grant Enfinger, and Christian Eckes.
Layne Riggs is doing some rim riding, looking to enter the top five.

Lap 88, the drivers are now in their pit window to make it to the end of the race.
Ty Majeski makes an unscheduled trip down pit road for a flat tire. He will have to serve a penalty for a pit cone violation coming down pit road.
Lap 92, there are 27 trucks on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out on lap 96 when Caleb Costner gets into the grass and has torn up his truck. He is dropping fluid on the track.
Drivers make the final scheduled trip down pit road for service with Kaden Honeycutt winning the race off of pit road and Layne Riggs coming out second.
Nick Leitz, Brennan Poole, and Grant Enfinger were all caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the longest line.

Stephen Mallazzo was charged with jumping the restart.
Lap 108, Layne Riggs passes Christian Eckes for second.
Lap 110, Andres Perez gets into the wall but the track stays green. Perez and Connor Hall make it to pit road.
Just 24 laps remain in the race with Kaden Honeycutt over a second out in front of Layne Riggs.
Lapa 114, after having to start at the back of the field for speeding on pit road, Grant Enfinger has moved up to 13th place.
The caution flag comes out with 19 laps to go when Landen Lewis spins out and gets into the wall.
Drivers come down pit road for service with 17 laps remaining in the race. Taking only two tires, Layne Riggs wins the race off of pit road. Tanner Gray and Grant Enfinger also took only two tires.
Staying out on the track, Daniel Dye leads the race with Mini Tyrrell in second.

The caution flag comes out when Grant Enfinger gets into the wall. NASCAR has ruled that Grant Enfinger intentionally brought out the caution flag and as a result will be held two laps.
Kaden Honeycutt brings the field down for the green flag restart with just seven laps remaining in the race. Honeycutt edges out in front as the drivers gets three, four, and five wide behind them.

Tyler Ankrum has a flat tire but makes his way to pit road and the tracks stays green.
