Artist residencies are the rage these days. Some artists play a few days each month for years; while others play only a few days and then move on.
What is unusual is the price of the tickets at a reasonable price.

Tickets are just $20 each…BUT…the name on the ID must match the name on the ticket…NO scalping!

And next February, the fun loving swing band Squirrel Nut Zippers will play three shows at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The Stanley is famous for being the inspiration for “The Shining” by Stephen King.
The fun and mayhem beings on February 12 with a night of fan favourites from their album “Perennial Favorites”.
The February 13 show will feature the Zipper’s newest album “Fat City” that was released earlier this year and was inspired by front man Jimbo Mathus’ bootlegging grandfather who was also a juke joint operator and big band promotor in the American South.
The three night stint closes on February 14 with a Jazz Brunch in the MacGregor Ballroom and conclude with a Valentine’s Day Dance filled with “Southern-style jazz, cabaret, and good old-fashioned raucous rock and roots music.”
And an added bonus…Monday is a federal holiday – President’s Day!
Tickets are limited due to the size of the venue.
Tickets are $75 general admission for each show or $200 for the whole weekend.
